airaa’s growing up so quickly nowadays and since she’s started crawling all over the house, i think it’s time to start baby-proofing the whole place. apart from that, i also think it’s time to move her to her own room. okay maybe not entirely, i mean she might still need to sleep with us for a couple of more years until mommy learns to get over the separation anxiety, but maybe we’ll start slowly by moving some of her stuff first.
i’ve been doing some homework and searching for some ideas. because of time constraint, i’m hoping i’ll be able to do this soon and not until she’s reached a year old.

it’ll be fairly simple. since i’ll be the one who has to pick up after. -_-“
and maybe a small play area downstairs.

let’s just hope this works out soon.

haha. wow. someone’s getting a little over excited.

i bought a few fabrics and thought of doing some sort of craft project for airaa.

after browsing through the internet for inspirations, i decided to make an owl pillow for her which i think is very practical, personally. it could serve both as a soft toy for her to play and also as her pillow.

please excuse the really messy handiwork, the mommy is very very new at this. -_-“

several things has happened these past few weeks:

but also last week, our (ammar’s) grandad passed away peacefully on friday so it was a little rough on the family. but deep in my heart, insyaallah, i pray he will be placed within the mukmineens.

the occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way:
since February is here again,
i think i’ll tell the story of how i met my husband; my long-lost high school friend who i haven’t spoken to in 10 years. we first met at my office’s elevator, of all places. i was in a hurry, pleasantly surprised to see a familiar face greeting me at the elevator door, but desperately in a race with time to stop and chat. so we simply exchanged numbers. i guess my husband’s instincts that our meeting wasn’t just a mere coincidence were far better than mine, so a little while later he came around to my cubicle. we had a long conversation, you know, old friends catching up with each other and i remembered it being very pleasant. he was into design and printing back then so i asked him, jokingly, whether i could use his help to design my wedding invitations if i ever needed to (we were still seeing other people at the time) and he graciously answered, “boleeeh.”
and two years later, well, let’s just say he kept his words and really did help with the invitations. hehe.
i guess life is full of surprises.
ps: Happy second anniversary, love.
